Cambridge Duathlon

7k run/40k bike/7k run

5 members of FVS TRI competed at Cambridge in a high quality race being used as a qualifying event for the World Age Group Duathlon Championships in Australia later in the year.  The 7k run/40k bike/7k event was run in near perfect conditions and was completed in 1:43 by Steve Harrison, the 1^st FVS TRI athlete home.

Kevin Holt qualified for his second GB representation of 2005 in the 20-24 age group having already been selected for the Age Group Long Course Triathlon World Championships in Denmark.

Sam Tophill and Jackie Perry (GB Age Group 2004) also scored qualifying times for their age group, but have elected to focus on triathlon this year.
