The final Stevenage 5K produced another PB for FVS TRI’s Mark Simpson who improved 23 seconds on the previous race to finish 18th on the night and 17th in the Series 

First home for the Club was Paul Gibb in super time of 16:54 and also there was a great debut from Lee Baddock with a 20:54.

The 3rd fixture in the Sunday Cross Country League was in Southgate around a fast parkland course in sub zero temperatures.  

The 3 lap men’s race was approx 5 miles and Steve Harrison was again first home for the Club in a superb 3rd

Sunday 11th December

Bedford Half Marathon

Top FVS TRI run couple Simon Hall and Samantha Tophill raced the Bedford Half Marathon at the weekend.

Simon was an excellent 11th overall from 1195 finishers in 1:15:01 and Sam was a little disappointed to finish somewhat off her best with a 1:34:33 


Club La Santa Aquathon

Simon Patenall was 3rd overall in the Club La Santa Aquathon and finished in 12:07 for the 200m swim and 3K run.


Sunday 4th December

Nene Valley 10

Simon Hall was wrongly directed at the Nene Valley 10 and still finished under the hour! Simon was in 4th place and was sent the wrong way. Having lost nearly 2 minutes he still cam home 10th in a time of 58:47. Quality! 


Sunday 4th December

Luton Marathon

Mandy Waters completed the Luton Marathon as part of her build up for IronMan Switzerland in a time of 4:32:52 which was a new PB by over 7 minutes. Mandy was 3rd in the Bedford County Championships  


Lanzorote Running Challenge

In warmer climes Simon Patenall completed the Lanzarote International Running Challenge which comprised of 4 races over 4 days. Simon was 63rd overall in a time of 3:42:16
