Debbie Knott competed in the Gorick Mountain Bike series at Yateley Heath Wood and finished 6th lady.

Saturday 17th January

The event was the South Evans Trail Ride Series. Due to the bad conditions on the Course, Debbie switched from long Course to Short course and won the women's event by 12 minutes.

The hilly course consisted of road, cycle and horse paths and farm fields and various check points where you had to clip a card!  Due to the heavy rain most of the course was waterlogged.  The 15 mile event was completed in 1 hour 52mins 10secs.


Jackie Perry Scores Win in Duathlon Debut!

Milton Keynes Duathlon

Saturday 3rd  January

5 members of the newly formed triathlon club FVS TRI competed for the first time at the Milton Keynes Duathlon in rather cold and very slippery conditions.

The running and cycling event was in 3 stages of 2 mile run, 10.4 mile bike and then a 2 mile run to finish. The times below include the transition times of changing in and out of cycling and running shoes.

Jackie Perry was the first lady vet home in 64.32 and 'Mad' Jon Gillham was first home for the Club in 58.01. Club Chairman Lesley Dutton was competing for the first time in multi discipline event and recorded a fine 70.07.
