Running

Running in a triathlon or duathlon requires the ability to run well after cycling hard for 20Km, 40Km or even 112Miles!  Being able to produce a good run split is one of the hallmarks of a superior triathlete and is a question of speed, conditioning and skill.

FVS Tri is able to offer coached sessions that will help you to:-

  • Run well off the bike – this requires specific practice and during the spring and summer there is a bike-run session offered every week.

  • Stay strong on the run – track based skill and endurance sessions, hill running and road and off-road speed and endurance training.  Two sessions available every week.

  • Maximise efficiency – track based drills and core stability work.

Good form and an economical running style
